Ednivo ("Ednivo", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://ednivo.in and associated educational prep services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, process, and protect personal and academic information collected through our website, diagnostic assessments, and tutoring portals.
We strictly adhere to applicable regional and international data protection standards, including the Saudi Arabian Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), and international standards concerning teen and student privacy (COPPA / GDPR).
1. Information We Collect
We only collect personal information necessary to deliver educational assessments, cohort scheduling, and diagnostic feedback:
- Student & Parent Contact Data: Student name, parent/guardian name, email address, WhatsApp/mobile telephone number, and residential country or city.
- Academic & Assessment Information: Grade/class (e.g. Grade 9–12), current school curriculum (IB, American Diploma, British Cambridge, CBSE, Indian, or National), diagnostic test responses, raw scores, predicted SAT ranges, and target score goals.
- Account Credentials: Email addresses used for passwordless One-Time Password (OTP) verification. We never store or transmit plaintext passwords.
- Device & Usage Data: Anonymized browser type, operating system, approximate geographic region (via timezone and IP headers), and website interaction telemetry to optimize performance and prevent platform abuse.
2. How We Use Student Data
We use the collected information exclusively for legitimate educational and customer communication purposes:
- To administer diagnostic assessments and generate personalized 400–1600 Digital SAT score improvement reports.
- To match students with appropriate cohort pacing (Pro group cohorts) or 1-on-1 subject specialists (Elite program).
- To provide parents with academic progress updates, mock exam analysis, and attendance reports.
- To facilitate direct customer service and consultation via verified communication channels (Email, WhatsApp).
- To maintain the security, integrity, and operational availability of our learning portals.
3. Teen and Minor Data Protection
Because many Ednivo students are between 15 and 18 years old, we implement enhanced privacy protections:
- We do not display student contact information publicly or share it with third-party advertisers.
- Consent for commercial enrollment and transactional payments must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
- Any testimonials or case studies published on our platform require prior verifiable consent from the student and their parent/guardian.
4. Information Sharing & Third Parties
Ednivo does not sell, rent, or trade student or parent information to third-party data brokers or marketing agencies. We disclose data strictly to trusted technical infrastructure providers bound by confidentiality and security obligations:
- Cloud Database & Hosting Providers: Secure hosting (Vercel CDN) and encrypted relational databases (Supabase / AWS) for authentication and student records.
- Payment Gateways: PCI-DSS certified payment processors (Stripe, PayTabs) for encrypted payment processing. Ednivo never stores full credit card numbers on its servers.
- Educational Tools: Video conferencing providers (Zoom, Google Meet) for live classroom instruction.
5. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/HTTPS in transit and AES-256 at rest) to protect all student records from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. Access to internal administrative consoles is strictly restricted and protected by multi-factor authentication.
6. Data Subject Rights (Access, Correction & Deletion)
Under Saudi PDPL, UAE Data Law, and international regulations, parents and students possess the right to:
- Request access to all personal and assessment records associated with their account.
- Request correction of inaccurate contact or academic information.
- Request permanent deletion ("Right to be Forgotten") of their account and test attempt history.
- Opt out of non-essential operational communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Privacy Officer at privacy@ednivo.in or via WhatsApp at +91 94243 12427.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use standard technical cookies and lightweight telemetry (Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager) to understand site navigation patterns and improve responsive page rendering. Visitors can disable cookies through browser settings without affecting the core diagnostic test functionality.
